Well, with a company name like 'postcardbooth.com' you'd think we would have bunches of postcards to sell or to trade. And off in the distant future this may become part of our business. But for now, our efforts are in to making high quality products from the images of our vintage postcard / crate label galleries (or your photos, graphics, artwork etc.) using the process: dye-sublimation.
Dye-sublimation is the process of applying full color images to special coated ceramics, metals and polyester cloth. Three components make up the process: sublimation ink, heat and pressure. The ink (through heat) has the ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form. Pressure and time are key players in obtaining the highest quality print.
DYE-SUBLIMATION...say what?
